According to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, up to now, Chinese enterprises have promoted the construction of 75 overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in 24 countries along the route with 3412 enterprises entering the region and a total of 2.21 billion U.S. dollars in taxes paid to the host country, creating more than 209,000 jobs locally .
